National Women’s Go Gliding Day

Buckminster Gliding Club is proud to be hosting a National Women’s Go Gliding day on Sunday 28 April 2024.

If you’re a woman interested in aviation and in taking up a new and exciting hobby then feel free to join us on the day. You can come along and get to see how a gliding club works and, by booking in advance, you can take an experience flight with our instructors at a special rate.

You must book a flight experience in advance which will cost £90. This includes a day’s membership, pre-flight briefing from our instructors followed by an aerotow to 2000 feet with up to 20 minutes flying and a winch launch with up to 15 minutes flying. After the flights you can take advantage of a 10% discount on membership if you would like to go further. To arrange a flight please contact us using the details below.
